Redondela has a wide and diverse repertoire of places to visit and experiment. It’s emplacement near the sea allows you to enjoy beaches, the lives of the fishermen, the historic island, San Simon, or a relaxing sunset. At the same time, you can visit several cultural heritage sites such as the prehistoric archaeological park of Monte Penide, with megalithic graves, petrographs and a castro, or walk along the old pipeline that brought water to Vigo now made into a scenic path, visit the watermills and the cascade of the Feixa or enjoy the rich ecclesiastic heritage of it’s churches.

Good food lovers can enjoy the Choco festival (1st Sunday of May),the Apple fest (1st Sunday of October) or the Homemade wine Fest (1st weekend of July). Children can enjoy the International Moppet Festival that brings to Redondela companies from all over the world the last week of May.
